Part of our centenary has seen a commitment to provide online the many documents, photographs and reference material that we have built up over the years. This is an ongoing process so new material will be added periodically.
Let us know if you can provide additional information for any items you see here.
1910's
The eighth was founded in 1906 by Mr. Gordon Barnsley the son of Sir. John Barnsley who was at the time President of the 1st B'ham Coy. That's Gordon Barnsley in the centre of the 1912/13 photo, next to the minister Revd. Beecham. Large as it evidently was in those days, the company often paraded at Gordon Barnsley's house for an Inspection, he was a leader who inspired both fellow officers and Boys.
