The boys have been working towards gaining badges during the session and the awards night is when they have a moment in the spotlight and feel a sense of achievement. Family and friends were there to support and encourage the boys and to see what the boys having been doing. Weather!
The weather recently has forced us to postpone BB for the second Wednesday running which means that we have not met since before Christmas. This is unprecidented and we hope does not lead to yet another week off. We shall endevour to keep you all up to date on this site as and when decisions are made concerning the cancelling of a night.

We hope that the recent events have not impacted you all too much. Let's hope that next Wednesday 20th January 2010 is finally our first week back after Christmas!

From all the staff - Take care!

Queens Men

Stephen Knox & Clive Haslam - Click for Larger Image

Stephen Knox and Clive Haslam have both completed their Queens Badge which was awarded to them on Sunday 30th June 2009 by the Brigade Secretary.

Clive and Stephen have undertaken a great amount of work in the BB over the last few years not least this final years where clive worked voluntarilly at a charity shop and Stephen worked as a volunteer at Fort Rocky weekends organised by YFC (Youth For Christ). both men have also been active in the community through the Community Action project we have helping people who struggle to maintain thier gardens.

It has been an immense pleasure to see both Clive and Stephen grow through the company. They have both become very able and competent leaders and are an asset to the company here at St. Bonuiface and indeed to their peers. We wish them noth the very best as they go on to Gap years, Stephen working with a church and Clive travelling to Botswana in January to work with YFC.
